Excerpts from Gjon Mili's film, without sound, appear in Clint Eastwood's Bird: The Legend of Charlie Parker. There is also sound footage of Lester Young.

The footage is now available on Norman Granz Presents Improvisation. Unfortunately, the accompanying music was pre-recorded by Granz and in Mili's studio the musicians are just playing in sync with it.

I'm grateful to Chieo Yamada for help with this session.
