The Davis Septet opened for Leon Russell and Sea Train for four nights at the Fillmore
Auditorium, October 15-18 (Thursday-Sunday). Columbia probably recorded these shows,
and the Fillmore certainly did. The beginning of "Directions" is missing from this
recording, and there is a brief gap in "Yesternow" (due perhaps to a tape flip,
since the gap is about 43 minutes from the beginning of the recording).
The Davis group performed, along with Osmosis, at the Boston Tea Party on Sunday,
September 13. Other performances include: Seattle Center Arena (October 4); Royce
Hall, UCLA (October 10); Zellerbach Auditorium, UC-Berkeley (October 14).
