Parker was booked as a single along with Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Count Basie
and His Orchestra, the MJQ, Bill Davis and His Trio, Lester Young, and others as
part of the "Birdland Stars of '54" tour. The whole concert has been issued on
Roulette (RCD 58009 and 98660).
A review of the Carnegie Hall show says that "Bird was not as his best..." Neither,
of course, were Billie Holiday or Lester Young.
