We want to do the All-Star thing now: Bud at the piano, Charlie Parker, Max Roach stay at the drums. George Duvivier back in on bass, and bring on stand Sonny Stitt on tenor. Talk about bringing back old times in modern jazz, this we should have now. Let's get the All-Stars together, and fellas we've got till one o'clock, which is almost fifteen minutes. This acetate was may have been recorded off the air. Parker does not play on the first tune, but both Mobley and Stitt are audible. Stitt returns for "Ornithology." This broadcast was also recorded off the air by Chan Parker, with baby Pree in the room (her cries can be heard at 1:48 of "Star Eyes" on that version).
