Both sides of the 45 rpm single Co 45946 are taken from take 3 of "Big Fun."

The Davis Septet recorded some music in Columbia Studios in April and May, before leaving for Japan, but nothing from those sessions has been released. More studio time was scheduled in July. The Septet was booked at Merriwether Post Pavilion, Washington (August 2), but the show was canceled.
