The version of "Back Seat Betty" on Columbia 2C-38005 and Sony SRCS-6842 is edited in the trumpet and guitar solo (8:10). The version on AS 1367 is unedited but still incomplete.

The title on the label of AS-1367 is listed as "Miles Davis - Live Cut from Avery Fisher Hall" (11:00). "Aida" is listed as "Fast Track" on Columbia and equivalents. On some releases the location and date are wrongly listed as Kix, Boston, June 27, 1981.

The issued version of "Aida/Fast Track" is edited, including ten excerpts from both the first and second concert. The end of "My Man's Gone Now" and the start of "Kix" are included in the start and end of "Aida." The editing is approximately as follows (special thanks to Flambay for this information):

Segment 1: 00:00-07:10 2nd concert
Segment 2: 07:10-08:32 2nd concert
Segment 3: 08:32-10:25 2nd concert
Segment 4: 10:25-12:04 1st concert
Segment 5: 12:04-12:11 1st concert
Segment 6: 12:11-13:15 1st concert
Segment 7: 13:15-14:46 1st concert
Segment 8: 14:36-14:57 2nd concert (partial repeat of same portion in segment 2)
Segment 9: 14:57-15:01 2nd concert
Segment 10: 15:01-18:02 2nd concert

The Davis group played several live dates early in the summer:

June 11: Village Vanguard, New York NY (Mel Lewis band)
June 26-29: Kix, Boston
July 5: Avery Fisher Hall, New York NY (two concerts)
July 7: Xenon, New York NY (Davis attends Columbia cocktail party)
