Items 1 and 2 are the same basic take of "Tutu" with two different Davis overdubs added.
Approximately one minute of "Tutu" was included in Davis' "Tutu" video directed by Spike Lee.
The take labeled "take V2 (edit)" is included on the DVD Miles Davis in Montreux
(see July 8, 1991).
Marcus Miller offers a fascinating account of the process of recording "Tutu" as part of
Steve Rowland's The Miles Davis Radio Project, broadcast by American Public Radio in 1990.
According to Adam Holzman, Davis, Miller, and he began recording in Los Angeles, and Miller
finished the track in New York City.
